My first Baltic amber bracelet creation

This was my first attempt at knotting an Amber baby bracelet. Made from beautiful honey and cream Baltic Amber. I hope that in time I can give in to my ideas and not be afraid to try to create new things and make more extravagant jewellery.

It took maybe 6 times to get this right and it's still imperfect and not knotted tightly but I'm still very proud ! My sense of personal achievement after I had finished this was so high.

Its not bad at all I think  ... 

I welcome myself

After seeing my friend Danni's gorgeous new blog and loving what she is doing I decided that it is time I did something to showcase my creative attempts.

I miss much more than I hit that's for sure. I would love to have a place where I can look back and remember the things I made or attempted to make as the case might be.

Whether I am attempting to make jewellery, clothes or toys I want a place to showcase it and recall it. I want to remember the feelings I had whilst making it and hopefully to learn from my mistakes.

I already had a blog where I wrote about my daily happenings but not much happens in my life so that blog died where it began. At least with this blog I can write again after a few months absence and not feel stupid for doing so.

I hope you enjoy following me ( If anyone does ) because I'm sure I'll enjoy writing here.
